Sick and making a shawl

So I've been sick for a few days. I'm thankful my wonderful husband came home from work to help make me better. So I was hurting really badly and couldn't rest 3 hours later I have the start of the virus shawl.

Can't sleep again... sitting here binge watching House on netflixs working on my husband's afghan.
Talk about pacience. I'm using Patons Lace Sequin and Patons Lace Weight Porcelain.
Size 2 fine thread with an F hook.

I love to crochet... not what you were thinking was it.  I recently moved to the outskirts of the DFW metroplex and I love living here.  I am out in the country so I have room to think but I am close enough to feed my yarn addiction.

My husband and I bought a house in November of last year.  Moving from Louisiana where it is hot and humid to Texas hot and less humid I have been crocheting like crazy.

I currently teach a crochet class at our public library on Thursday night and I have 2 besties that crochet alot with me.

The next project will be an Octopus, I have a 40 Gallon aquarium that I will be creating a crochet environment in.
